MANİSA – Operation never stopped towards politicians of HDP in Manisa after June 7 election. 87 members of HDP in Manisa were jailed on 16 operations. HDP Manisa Province co-chair Behçet Parıltı said “operations towards our party are not lawfully but political” said. Also any accusation wasn’t prepared yet for jailed politicians.


Operations towards members of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in Manisa never stopped since 18 month while government launched operation towards HDP througout Turkey after June 7 general election. 86 members of HDP in Manis were jailed on charge of “being member of illegal organization” and hundreds politicians were taken into custody after 16 operations. Also any accusation wasn’t prepared yet by prosecution since 18 months.




Anti-Terror department in Manisa made operations 16 times towards members of HDP. 78 politicians were jailed while over 100 politicians were taken into custody. After Nine people included three student were jailed the numbers of jailed rose to 87.




Also Police raided two times to HDP Manisa Province building. At the first raid police seized many properties included pictures of co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ. Manisa Province co-chair Ahmet Ertaş was jailed at the second raid.




All claims against imprisoned 87 politicians are about social media shares. But accusation wasn’t prepared by prosecution since 18 months.
