Statement about Manbij from Foreign Minister of Turkey

ANKARA – Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu repeated that they will strike to YPG forces if they dont withdraw from Manbij.




Turkey repeated to strike towards Manbij after heaby losses in Al-Bab. After President Recep Tayyip threated to launch an military operation towards Manbij, Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu also repeated the Erdoğan’s threat and said “ We already said that we will strike to YPG ( Peoples’ Protection Unions) if they don’t withdraw from Manbij city”. Çavuşoğlu also mentioned “ United States should collaborate with us not with them (YPG).”
