From DTK to KDP : Stop immediately the attack towards Sinjar

DİYARBAKIR – DTK condemned to attacks towards Sinjar and called to KDP to stop attacking immediately.


Democratic Society Congress (DTK) made a written statement about attacks towards Sinjar forces by Peshmerga of Kurdistan Democratic Forces (KDP).

“Attacks towards Kurds’ gain are raising day by day. Massacres towards Kurds is continuing in Sinjar right after attacks towards Rojava Region by AKP-MHP (Justice and Development Party-Nationalist Movement Party). We condemn the attacks towards Yazidis’ region Sinjar by KDP.


The History was written to KDP’s forces as runner from Sinjar while it was under attack of DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) in 2014. After this betrayal numerous Yazidis were taken captive by DAİŞ and sold to bazaars. These pictures are still alive in peoples’ memory. Despite this betrayal Yazidis could take back their city by their selves. After Sinjar had its freedom KDP started to threat the people of Sİnjar. For us , attack and visitation of Mr. Barzani to Turkish Prime Minister and Presiden is not coincidence” stated DTK.
