Pressure raises after hunger strike in Şakran Prison

İZMİR – Prisoners of Şakran Prison who spoke with their relatives said pressures uprised after İndefinite hunger strike without rotation for “freedom for Öcalan and return to negotiation and stop to violations”.



Prisoners told their relatives that pressures upraised while indefinite hunger strike without rotation for “ freedom for PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) leader Öcalan , returning to peace negotiation and stop the violations” in its 21th days. Prisoner Özgür Güçlü “ We are continuing hunger strike since February 21 and pressures raised towards us after hunger strike” said to his visitor Selami Kutlu.


Kutlu “ There are 23 prisoners who are in hunger strike. The first demand of prisoners is freedom of PKK leader Öcaland and returning to peace negotiation” said and added “ Prisoners send their greets to anyone. They are good for now except loose in weight and they mentioned that they will not end to strike until Öcalan has his freedom.”
