MARDİN – Resident of Xerabé Bava (Koruköy) village Nezir Aykut (65) sums up the 19 days curfew in the village as “ worse than dying” and said “ Their commander point a gun towards my nape. I said ‘Kill me’. He said ‘No. I will kill you by torturing.”




Sabri Bahyan (63) from Xerabé Bava Village said “ They took me to Abdi Aykut’s house whose picture of torture released to media. They broke his door by rocks. Then they took me to Nezir Aykut when they realized there is no one in Aykut’s house” and added “ They brought back to Abdi after they took him for an hour. Two soldiers were keeping his arms and blood was everywhere on his body. He couldn’t even walk because of torture. They put him into an armored vehicle then they took me and my nephew into vehicle too. And we were taken to Gendarme Commandership of Nusaybin.”
