ADANA –Syrian refugees who live in tents on free fields due to rental fee said that they were threatened by owner of free fields and they said they don’t have life safety.
A clash occurred between Syrian refugees and resident of neighbors of Yüreğir county in Adana on February 27 by unknown reason. After clash three people included two Syrians were wounded and tents of refugee were burnt. Numbers people included Syrians were taken into custody by police and Syrian concerns their life safety.
A refugee named Osman Ali stated “owner sold the field to estate agent and the agent want to us to leave. They raided to our tents and tried to forcibly take one of the young girls among us. But we resist against it. Then clash began. They burnt our tents. We don’t have life security.”
