DİYARBAKIR – Numbers women young and old alike included representatives of associations and institutions met on March 8 demonstration in Diyarbakır led by TJA.

International Women Day demonstration titled “Freedom will win with women resistance” which led by Free Women Movement (TJA) was conducted in Diyarbakır. Women also carried “ No is everywhere because women are” banners to refer the referendum on April 16 and told why they will vote ‘No’.

Member of DBP (Democratic Regions Party) council Sêvê Demir’s who was murdered in Silopi mother Sakine Demir celebrated all mothers’ Women Day who lost their children during conflict period. Mother Demir “ We need to say ‘No’ to stop these oppressions that kills women and burns cities and villages” said.
