ANKARA – CHP chairperson Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu met with mayors and said “ Goverment saying ‘ terror will end if amendment passes from referendum’ is a trick. Because they couldn’t end it since 2002.”


Republic People Party (CHP) chairperson Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu spoke out Turkey’s agenda at the meeting with mayors. Kılıçdaroğlu “ We need to tell people very well the constitutional amendment with a very careful language. Because this amendment is concerning to 80 millions citizen. We want to keep alive our democracy. We have to straddle all population even we have different opinions” said.


“They say dual executive will be removed. It is not true. Dual executive will be a constitutional institution. President will be elected as heads of Turkey and his/her party. So Turkey will be put in a tension ground. They also say that terror will end if constitutional amendment passes from referendum. It is a huge trick. They couldn’t end it since 2002” said Kılıçdaroğlu
