VAN – DBP Van Province organization made a statement over launched indefinite hunger strike without rotation in prisons and called democratic fronts to move before prisoners lose their life due to hunger strike.




Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Van Province Organization made a press statement over launched indefinite hunger strike without rotation in prisons in Van. DBP Van Province co-chair Ahmet Aygün stated that rights violations is continuing as having revenge from prisoners. “All rights of prisoners such as receive and send letters, having newspaper, sporting were suspended. Also medical examination isn’t allowed by authorities even in emergence situation. On this context prisoners launched indefinite hunger strike without rotation for protesting to these rights violations. We want to declare that we are with them and we call all democratic fronts to make a move against these rights violations” said Aygün.
