İstanbul Consul General of the Netherland : Claiming of embassy officer strike the flag is ridiculous

NEWS BUREUO - İstanbul Consul General of the Netherland Robert Schuddeboom said “ Claiming of embassy officer strike the colors of the Netherland is ridiculous. Doing this is a crime and attacking to a diplomatic land” said.


İstanbul Consul General of the Netherland Robert Schuddeboom made a statement about striking the colors of the Netherland and replaced the Turkish flag on the consulate of the Netherland in İstanbul.


According to Duygu Güveç from Cumhuriyet Newspaper, Schuddeboom could’nt sleep until 4.30 a.m. due to protesting. Schuddeboom said “ Absolutely colors of the Netherland was strike by a demonstrator. Because I was in the consulate while the Netherland colors was strike. I saw who did it at the Turkish media. Claiming of embassy officer strike the colors is ridiculous. Protesting kept continue during night. I went to sleep around 4.30 a.m. Protestors had very professional sound system.”


“I have learnt the colors was strike at 9.30 a.m. and replaced the colors again at 10 a.m. They are the criminal. Investigation is continuing and we informed about our complaints to foreign ministry” said Schuddeboom.
