One student and one trainee solicitor jailed in Ankara

ANKARA – Two in detained 13 students on March 8 and 9 in Ankara were jailed.


13 students from Ankara University had been taken into custody by police raids. Students named Emrah Bakır and trainee solicitor Ali Can Süt were jailed by court decision.

It was also reported that 10 students were released by juridical control decision. Students had been taken into custody because of a fighting at Law Faculty of Ankara University on 2015.
