DİYARBAKIR – Despite curfew removed after 11 days in 18 villages of Lice county, soldiers blockaded the entrance of the villages. It was reported that it is only allowed the villagers to enter the villages after body searches.
Governorship of Diyarbakır stated that curfew was removed on 18 villages of Lice county of Diyarbakır after curfew declared 11 days ago. According to governorship’s statement, seven thousand gendarme, 600 special forces and 559 rural guards with 17 helicopter, 33 cobra helicopters, 51 armored military vehicles involved to operations towards 18 villages.
Despite curfew removed, soldiers blockaded the entrances of villages and only allow to villagers after body searches.
