Entrance and exit to Istanbul closed

İSTANBUL – All entrances to İstanbul were closed as part of operation named “ Kurtkapanı-2” ( Wolf trap-2) which is conducted by Police Headquarter of Istanbul.




All entrances to Istanbul in European side from land, aerial and sea were closed due to on going operation. Same operation to Asian side of İstanbul is conducted in European part of Istanbul under the name of “Kurtkapanı-2”.




According the statement realized by Police Headquarter of İstanbul, personnel with 1000 numbers had conducted an operation in Asian part of İstanbul and closed to all entrances by supporting helicopters. Today there will be similar operation in European side of Istanbul between 12.00 and 15.00 under the name of “Kurtkapanı-2”. All entrances will be closed and check point will be in all counties of European side of the city.
