ŞIRNAK – Rural guards cut down thousand fruiters in Besta district of Şırnak by order of Gendarme Commandership of Balveren.




Thousand fruiters were cut down since last month in Besta region of Şırnak city. It was reported that fruit trees is cut down by rural guards in charge of soldiers at this morning too. Thousand wood of tree were sent to gendarme commandership was reported.



DBP (Democratic Region Party) Balveren district’s co-chair Sadun Sezer stated that soldiers rural guards began to cut down the trees from last month by order of commandership’s authorities. “ Notables of region gathered together and met with authorities to convince to stop cut down the trees. But authorities said ‘ for our security those trees need to be cut down’ to us.”




Sezer “ We also made a sign campaign and send to exploitation management of Şırnak but we didn’t receive any answer. Cutting trees is continuing. We will make a new move with citizen for this destruction” said.
