VAN – After appointed trustee to the Van Metropolitan Municipality police forces had blockaded the area. Municipality building was surrounded with barriers and armored vehicles. Police forces are searching on municipality employees and record their name.




Municipality was closely transformed into police station after Van Governor İbrahim Taşyapan was appointed as trustee.




All roads go to the municipality was closed by TOMA (Intervention Vehicle to Social İncidents) except a road. Citizens who must pass around municipality are searched by police forces as suspicious.


Meantime there are numbers of police with guns inside the municipality according to employees
