ANKARA – Imprisoned HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş censored message was red in today’s HDP caucus . Demirtaş “Freedom will be “ emphasized.


HDP weekly caucus was occurred. Demirtaş message was read by HDP group deputy chair Çağla Demirel.


Summary of the censored message of Demirtaş :


Dear all deputies friends, our party executives, members, friends and press workers,

“I am sending my greets to each of you. I apologies if I did write miss message under the conditions which I have only a pen and a paper. We all are good, standing and enthusiastic despite of this imposed injustice and despotism.


… Insisting to create a nation with a single language and identity had oppressed to different identities, colors and languages. Today people who supports republic with democracy were labeled as “enemy inside”, “terrorist”, or “traitor”. Numbers of journalists, politicians, academicians and artists from opposition were prisoned or exiled due to they have asked democratic reforms.


… We will keep continue to struggle between the four wall with greater sprite. We will never step back to being voice of peace. We will not accept violence, guns as a solution when we stand against oppressions. We will organizing with reason, emotion.”
