MARDİN – Şeyza Bulut is one of the citizen who lost their home after 260 days of curfew in Nusaybin. Bulut “ I am willing to live in basement floor for not leave my land” said and asked her building plot back remained from her house.
“Thousands buildings were destroyed”
Zeynelabidin is a district of Nusaybin. Curfew was removed for only a small part of the district . 714 buildings, 954 houses, 535 shops and 6 government buildings have been destroyed. Also 1.011 buildings, 1.481 houses in Yenişehir and almost all part of Dicle district (1.006 houses and 263 shops) were destroyed.
“I don’t exchange the Nusaybin to Europe”
Şeyza Bulut’s house was in Dicle district. She says that she doesn’t exchange the Nusaybin land to Europe. “I am willing to live in a basement for not leave my land. I know they haven’t left any house. But let them pick fence up, then I will pitch a tent on my land and live there” said Bulut.
“We just want to our rights”
“We don’t cheat rights of anybody, we just want to our rights. We want to end to this spilled blood. We want to let them pick fence up which was put around our land and we want to leave free on our land. They were refusing to give our home back until now, then they haven’t left any houses. We want our land back” said Bulut.
“We were left more alone after a trustee was appointed”
Rıfat Ceme told that solidarity was stopped after trustee appointed to the municipality and we were left more alone. “there is only thing left we ask : our land. Destruction in here wasn’t less than the world wars.”
“We don’t have any idea what is going to be”
Fahrettin Çetin remarked that 60 percent of city were destroyed. “We don’t know what projects they have about Nusaybin. They destroyed all things even we said don’t. We don’t have any idea what is going to be” said Çetin.
