ADANA – Prison Monitoring Commission of Adana Bar chairperson Lawyer Tugay Bek “Rights violation towards prisoners rose in Kürkçüler F Type Prison” stated after visitation to the prison.




Rights violation rise up in Çukurova region’s prisons after prisoners ended hunger strike. Prison Monitoring Commission of Adana Bar chairperson lawyer Tugay Bek “ Same problems are continuing in prisons day by day. Prisons’ officials insist to treat unlawfully towards prisoners” said in a statement.




Bek told “ prisoners of PKK (Kurdistan Worker Party), FETÖ ( Fettullah Gülenist Terror Organization), DAİŞ ( Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) are kept on same corridors. Specially officially arrange the open visiting time as these prisoners’ family came at the same time. Because of this there are high tension during the visiting. Therefore prisoners and their families are concerning during visitation.”




Lawyer Bek also remarked same treatments like banish of receiving letters, newspapers are still continuing. The commission also stated there will be attempting by Adana Bar to stop these unlawful treatments.
