They struggle for life in a tent

VAN – Muhammed family with 7 people who escape from Syria War are living in a tent in spite of cold weather in Van city.


Fatma Muhammed (55) , her husband and 2 children , one 15 another 10 years old, are working as coolie and boot polisher to survive under this conditions. Family is living in a tent and heated with stove. Fatma Muhammed said “Our most needs are provided by our neighborhood. We don’t have enough conditions to rent a house. After weather get colder two of my children got cold. We don’t know what to do when weather get colder. We don’t have even cordwood.We pick some brushwood on the street but we don’t know what we are going to do in winter.We may froze to death if we don’t find any other solution”.



Muhammed “We migrated from Aleppo. But if war ends we will immediately turn back our land. We didn’t live our country by our desire. I wish war ends as soon as possible and we will get rid of from this torture. We didn’t want to live in a foreign country under the this conditions. But we had to. I pray every day for war to end” said.
