HAKKARİ – Police had raided Yüksekova ,Çukurca and Şemdinli Municipality buildings and co-mayors were detained.Police are searching the buildings.

Police forces had raid Yüksekova Municipality building at early moning hours. Co-mayor Adile Kozay and numbers of municipality employees were detained. The searching is continuing.


Another operation was made to Çukurca Municipality at the same time with Yüksekova. Police had raided to Municipality building and co-mayors Hilal Duman and Servet Tunç’s houses. Vice co-mayor Hıdır Demiroğlu, citizens Osman Kanar and Remzi Kanat also were detained.

Special forces made operation to Şemdinli co-mayors Nahide Yıldız and Seferi Yılmaz ; vice co-mayor Senar Duyan’s houses.

Police forces had blockaded all three municipality buildings.
