ANKARA – HDP deputies Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar visited to imprisoned co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş in prison by permission of Justice Ministry. But the Ministry didn’t give permission to visit co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ.

HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) deputies Buldan and Sancar had applied to Justice Ministry for visiting imprisoned HDP co-chairs and deputies. But the Ministry refused to visitation of Yüksekdağ. Buldan and Sancar visited to co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş, deputies İdris Baluken and Ferhat Encü.

Banning Implementation for deputies of HDP to visit prisoners is continuing since 15 months.

Buldan “ This is our natural right. But They were banning us to visit illegally until now. All deputies have right to visit prisoner in jail whenever they want. This is a constitutional right. This right was seized by ministry” said.
