ANKARA – Lawyer Hüseyin Boğatekin made a statement about an imprisoned child K.T’s prison conditions. Boğatekin said K.T transferred four different prison in one year and he was subjected to violence. According to Boğatekin, the child goes through trauma and always speaks about dying.


K.T (17) was arrested last August in İdil-Şırnak and taken to Midyat Prison. It was mentioned that child was agonized and transferred four times since August. Lawyer Boğatekin mentioned his concerns about the child’s life and conditions.


Boğatekin “When I met with K.T, he told ‘I was agonized by guards in Şakran and Sincan Prisons. Therefore I wanted to kill myself’ to me. Then he showed me his writs. There was gash on his wrist. He is always speaking about to dying” said.
