NEWS BUREAU – Mehmet Fatih Sayan who was tasked by MİT for monitoring Kurdish institutions in Germany, gathering information about person and organizing assassination towards targeted person had confessed. Sayan said he is member of MİT and was tasked for monitoring Kurds in Germany.


The case of Mehmet Fatih Sayan who is member of MİT ( National Intelligence Organization) and was tasked for organizing assassination towards Kurds and gathering information about Kurdish institutions in Germany. Federal Prosecutor stated Sayan earned 30 thousand Euro exchange of working for Turkish intelligence organization MİT. According to Firat News Agency (ANF), Sayan told “ I am spy but not hitman.”


It was came to light that MİT had organized assassination towards Kurdish politicians Remzi Kartal and Yüksel Koç last year. An operation was launched which is relatedly with plan of assassination and MİT spy Mehmet Fatih Sayan was taken into custody by German police in Hamburg on December 15 of 2016

Federal Prosecution had stated Sayan was jailed because he was working for Turkish intelligence organization. The case of Sayan will be heard in Hamburg next autumn.

According to prepared accusation file, Sayan (32) has been working for MİT since 2013 and gained 30 thousand Euro exchange of being spy for MİT. “ S. has been working for MİT since 2013 and he was taking pictures of people who attended an event which was conducted by a Kurdish association for protesting immunity of parliamentarian” claimed prosecutor.

But according to accusation file, the main task of Mehmet Fatih S. was to monitor Kurdish politician Yüsel Koç since 2015.

Sayan “ I am spy of Turkish intelligence organization to monitor Kurdish institutions and gather information about people in Germany but I am not hitman” said, according to accusation file.
