DİYARBAKIR – A large number of Kurdish businessperson included Birtane Construction owner Celalettin Birtane and ÇEYSA owner Mehmet Çelik were taken into custody by an operation towards businessperson in Diyarbakır.

A large number of people were taken into custody in Diyarbakır at this early morning as part of investigation which is carried out by Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of Diyarbakır. It was reported warrant was issued for 50 people and 13 of them included businessperson Celalettin Birtane and Mehmet Çelik were taken into custody until now.

It was also reported detained people are investigated on claim of “ helping to KCK (( Kurdistan Communities Unions)”.
