Investigation of Berkin Elvan could completed after 1270 days

İSTANBUL – Police officer F.D was sued on charge of killing Berkin Elvan

Berkin Elvan (15) was killed in Gezi Park Resistance in Okmeydanı district on 13 June 2013 by police’s gas capsule. After 1270 days investigation turned a case. Suspect police F.D sued on charge of “willful homicide”. Prosecution demanded life imprisonment for F.D.




Family of Berkin Elvan had been said that Berkin Elvan was killed when he went to out to buy bread. But President Erdoğan had stated that “We shared all documents of police department. We all saw at pictures how terrorists are acting with slingshot."
