Trustees were appointed to Municipalities of Kayapınar and Yenişehir

DİYARBAKIR – Trustees were appointed to DBP’s Kayapınar and Yenişehir Municipalities after co-mayors were arrested.

DBP (Democratic Regions Party) co-mayors of Kayapınar and Yenişehir Municipalities Mehmet Ali Aydın and Selim Kurbanoğlu were arrested yesterday on December 7. Right after co-mayors were arrested, trustees were appointed by Interior Ministry’s decisions.



Kayapınar District Governor Mustafa Kılıç was appointed to Kayapınar Munipality as trustee and Yenişehir District Governor Selim Kurbanoğlu was appointed to Yenişehir Municipality as trustee.

Meanwhile after trustees appointed those two municipalities, ıt has reached 40 municipalities which appointed trustee by Interior Ministry.
