VAN – Adem Şili who was jailed after police raids towards his house in Siirt said “ My eardrum was burst by police battering. Then all special forces went out of the house, turned on the camera and knocked the door kindly and asked ‘ Can we come in?’”



Adem Şili ( 26) was jailed on claim of ‘being member of illegal organization’ after his house was raided by special police forces in Siirt on September 18 of 2016. Şili told his eardrum was burst by police attack during the raid.




“ Despite hospital diagnosed, doctors didn’t give me the battering report. They didn’t even give me medicine” said Şili.




Şili also spoke about the day of raid. “ Police special forces hit to my head with rifle butt without saying anything. Then they started to hit my face with their foots. Then all of them went out and turn on the camera. They knocked the door and ask kindly ‘Can we come in?’ to us. It was totally like a theatre. I was kept into custody for 22 days and wasn’t even sent to hospital” said Şili.
