Women invlove the Justice March in where Pippa murdered

KOCAELİ – 78 women’s institution and association involved the Justice March by ‘ We want real justice not men’s justice’ in where peace activist Pippa was murdered.




Justice March is continuing at road of İstanbul in its 22nd day. Today, 78 women’s institution and association included politicians, intellectuals, authors and artists involved the March.




Women involved the Justice March in Gebze where Italian artist Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo also known as ‘Pippa Bacca’ was murdered on March 31 of 2008 during her journey that she launched from Milano-Italy and aimed to arrive Tel Aviv- Israel for drawing attention for world peace. It was reported women carried ‘ We are attending the Justice March for real justice not for men’s justice’ written banner.




Imece homeworker Ayten Yılmaz “ System and democracy ended when opponents leader of this country had to launched a march for justice. If we are looking our rights on the streets, then it means assembly doesn’t work anymore” said.



TJA ( Free Women Movement) activist Nazife Akdemir said they are walking for imprisoned former co-chair of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) Figen Yüksekdağ. “ The most oppressed side of society is always been women. Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş are our dignity. We are walking against injustice towards our will” said Akdemir.




Akdemir also remarked ongoing isolation and lack down over PKK (Kurdistan Worker Party) leader Abdullah Öcalan. She told TJA also walking for Öcalan’s freedom. “ Öcalan is leader of Kurdish people who is known by whole world. Turkey knows much better than we know that key of the peace on the hand of Öcalan” said Akdemir.
