ADANA – HDP co-mayor Figen Yüksekdağ had testimony against charge of “humiliating of Turkish Government” to the Adana 11th criminal court of first instance by SEGBİS (Sound and Image Information System) . Yüksekdağ said all claims are processed by policies of power.
HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) deputy Mizgin Irgat and other party’s members weren’t allowed to participate the case.
After the identification Yüksekdağ started to give testimony against claims.
Summary of Yüksekdağ testimony;
“I am a parliamentarian of the third biggest party in Turkey.My immunity is still continuing. Judging me about my speech show how law was returned strangeness. This is a view of a shame. The one who have to be judged is who killed 12 people, who response on this massacre. We were jailed just because we participated to funeral ceremony who were wishing the peace. We were defending the fair reaction of people and we criticized. We will keep to struggle for peace and freedom. It is really a shame that I am judged because of my political opinions.”
The case was delayed to 28 March of 2017.
