Four protestors taken into custody in Yüksel Street during police intervention

ANKARA – Police intervened people who attended the protest in Ankara Yüksek Street for supporting educator Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça who are on hunger strike since 127 days and took four protestors into custody.



Supporting protest for educators Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça who are imprisoned in Sincan F Type Prison is continuing. Police intervened the group who attended the protest in Ankara Yüksel Street. It was reported four citizens named Nazife Onay, Adnan Şimşek, Mehmet Yılmaz and Perihan Pulat were taken into custody during police intervention. It was also reported protestors ‘Nuriye and Semih are not alone” chanted while they were taken into custody.
