URFA- One year and three months prison sentence was given to HDP lawmaker of Urfa İbrahim Ayhan because of he shared picture of Aziz Güler who lost his life in Rojava in social media. 5th Heavy Penal Court of Urfa punished Ayhan for one year and three months on char of ‘propaganda for illegal organization’.



Trial of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) Urfa lawmaker İbrahim Ayhan was heard in 5th Heavy Penal Court of Urfa. It was reported Ayhan didn’t attend the trial but lawyers were ready at the trial. The court board had gave one year and three months prison sentence to Ayhan on charge of ‘propaganda for illegal organization’ because shared picture of YPG ( People’s Defense Units) fighter Aziz Güler who lost his life in Rojava’ via social media.
