ANTEP –Dihaber journalists Erdoğan Alayumat and Nuri Akman are kept into custody for four days after they were detained because of ‘suspicion’.
Dihaber journalists Erdoğan Alayumat and Nuri Akman had been detained for days ago while they were following the news in border of Hatay-Antep.
Journalists had been sent police headquarter of Hatay when they were detained because of ‘reasonable suspicion’. Government news agency Anadolu Agency (AA) and Doğan News Agency (DHA) had claimed both journalists are member of PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party). After journalists’ union declared Alayumat and Akman were journalists of dihaber, newspaper and news agencies removed the news.
Lawyer of journalists Suphi Zarif told to dihaber, Alayumat and Akman will be sent into court house today or tomorrow on July 18.
