RAQQA – QSD made an official statement first time after 47 days operations towards Raqqa. Spokesperson Cihan Şex Ehmed stated eight neighborhoods were liberated from DAİŞ and 45 percent of the city was taken under control of QSD. Ehmed also stated QSD is doing its best to rescue the civilians without harm.

Democratic Syrian Forces (QSD) made an official statement for the first time after 47 days of Raqqa operation. The press statement was conducted in a fourth floor apartment of Sebehiye neighborhood . The statement was made by spokesperson Cİhan Şex Ehmed and commanders who involves the operation. Ehmet told operation is continuing successful and after eight neighborhoods were liberated from DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) , 45 percent of city was taken under control of QSD.

“ We surrounded Raqqa city from all side. We are cleaning all zone right after we defeated DAİŞ. We also rescued thousands civilians until now which is our first aim to do. We evacuate civilians from safe coridors. We will liberate Raqqa as soon as possible and give to civilian of Raqqa” told Ehmed.
