İSTANBUL – Twin blast hit in Beşiktaş. According to Süleyman Soylu, the first explosion occurred from bomb-laden vehicle, second one was occurred by suicide bomber. Soylu stated that two civilians and 27 police lost their life, 166 people were wounded.

Twin blast hit between Beşiktaş Vodafone Arene Stadium and Maçka Park. Government spokesperson Numan Kurtulmuş “The first attack was target to explode to vehicles, 45 seconds after the first explosion, a suspect was stopped by police nearby Maçka Park. Suspect exploded himself” stated.

Wounded people were taken to Şişli Etfal Hospital,Gümüşsuyu Soldier Hospital ve Amerikan Hospital. Officials are still searching the crime scene.

İstanbul High Court Chief Prosecutor launched a prosecution against the blasts and tasked five prosecutors.
