İSTANBUL – HDP’s lawmaker Sırrı Süreyya Önder spoke at the watch in Yoğurtçu Park of Istanbul. “ It had been made forbidden during September 12 coup of 1980 that five people can’t gathered at the public place. Today they say you can’t gather more than 60 in this park. There is such a difference between you and 1980’s coup” said Önder.
‘Conscience and Justice Watch’ of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) is continuing in Yoğurtçu Park of İstanbul since three days. HDP’s lawmakers made statement about the watch.
The party’s group deputy chairperson Filiz Kerestecioğlu, lawmakers Ayşe Acar Başaran and Sibel Yiğitlap made a statement on commemoration of Yazidi Genocide. Then lawmaker Sırrı Süreyya Önder made a press statement. “ We are in a prison right now because of blockade. Mr. Öcalan (Kurdistan Workers Party’s leader) had knew that would happen. That’s why he showed a way to us. He presented a way how to protect peace and make it permanent. But he is isolated in an island because of this” said Önder.
