HDP's 'Justice Watch' in İzmir starts by marching

İZMİR – ‘Conscience and Justice Watch’ of HDP in İzmir had started by march. It was reported police only allowed party’s members to attend the march and space of the march was straitened with barriers by police forces. It was also reported audio system and electricity were given to park for the watch but HDP call people to attend the watch during a week.




‘Conscience and Justice Watch’ of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) had started by march after Diyarbakır, Istanbul and Van. HDP’s lawmakers gathered in front of Türkan Saylan Culture Center and began to march to Gündoğdu Square of Izmir where the watch will carried out for one week.



HDP’s group deputy chairperson Ahmet Yıldırım made a short statement before the march and told they based the watch on civil and democratic policy.




“ We are happy to be in Izmir. Izmir is Turkey and Turkey is Izmir. People of Izmir never support the policy of arresting elected people. Therefore we want you to attend and support the watch in İzmir during a week. We are strong and rightful. We will certainly win” told Yıldırım.
