Police harshly intervenes to HDP's 'Justice Watch' in İzmir

İZMİR – Police harshly intervened to ‘Conscience and Justice Watch’ of HDP in İzmir. It was reported two citizens were taken into custody during intervention by battery.




HDP’s (Peoples’ Democratic Party) lawmakers announced that they will conduct party’s weekly caucus outside of the Gündoğdu Square because press workers weren’t allowed enter to the square. It was reported police responded violently to reaction of HDP and two citizens were taken into custody. It was also reported İHD’s (Human Rights Association) executives were battered by police during the intervention.
