RAQQA – A commander of QSD Medeni Haseke told Southern of Raqqa and Euphrates River were completely taken under control of QSD’s forces and more than 60 percent of the city is under control of QSD. “Raqqa will be liberated as soon as possible” told Haseke.

Operation towards DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) in Raqqa under the name of ‘Great War’ which is conducted led by QSD (Democratic Syrian Forces) is continuing since 73 days. Furtherance of QSD forces into Mansure and Reşid Neighborhoods at the eastern front. Number of liberated neighborhoods reached to 14 until now. A huge region had been liberated from DAİŞ right after west and east fronts united at the south of the city.

A commander of southern front of QSD Medeni Haseke told east and west fronts had united at the south of the city after violent conflicts that occurred for days. “ We are continuing to operation with great spirit and motivation. We liberated many places at south eastern and south eastern of the city and we will liberate the city as soon as possible. Control of south of the city was taken under our control right now and Euphrates River’s control too” told Haseke. Commander of QSD Haseke also stated many wounded civilian which were targeted by DAİŞ were taken to safe places and hospital after region was liberated.
