HAKKARİ – Lawyer of Şapatan’s villagers who presented the proves of tortures with reports and pictures told they applied to Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of Şemdinli for investigating MOBESE (mobile electronic system integration) cameras of five mosques of the village.
Lawyer of Şapatan’s villagers Sebahattin Yılmaz applied to Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of Şemdinli. It was reported lawyer had presented the reports and pictures that proved villagers were exposed to torture in the police headquarter. It was also reported lawyer requested from the prosecutor to investigate MOBESE (mobile electronic system integration) cameras which were located at five mosques of the village.
Lawyer also said tortured villagers will confronted with 375 special police forces. “ Villagers will identify police who tortured them. But almost all of their’s faces were masked during raid” told lawyer.
Yılmaz also told he contact with many associations and institutions in Turkey and other countries. “ Many associations and institution came to village for examining. They will share their report with public opinion when it completes” told lawyer Yılmaz and called lawyers for solidarity.
