RAQQA – Rojava Commander of TKP/ML-TİKKO Orhan Bakırcıyan was remembered at the front by his friends.

Operation towards Raqqa named ‘Great War’ for liberating city from DAİŞ is continuing since 78 days. Internationalist Battalion is one of the groups who involves the operation under umbrella of QSD (Democratic Syrian Forces). The battalion that Caucasians, Turks, Greeks, German, French, English and Armenian fighters are involving organized a ceremony for remembering of Armenian fighter and commander TKP/ML- TİKKO ( Communist Part of Turkey/ Maoist and Leninist) Orhan Bakırcıyan ( Nubar Ozanyan). It was reported pictures of Ozanyan and flags of YPG/J ( Peoples’ /Women’s Defense Units) and International Battalion were carried out during ceremony.

Fighter of TKP/ML-TİKKO Mahir Bakırcıyan spoke at the ceremony. “ Orhan Bakırcıyan had involved to International Battalion and he saw many things in his 40 years old revolutionist life. He was an example as his personality and laborer of revolution. We saw how we are on the right road after death took Orhan from us. We promise to Orhan Comrade to fight like he fought against DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant)” told Mahir Bakırcıyan.

The ceremony ended after French and English statements.
