DİYARBAKIR – Destruction of Sur under the name of ‘ Urban Transformation’ is continuing under the supervision of riot police.

It was reported destruction of Sur under the name of ‘Urban Transformation’ is continuing in Neighborhood of Alipaşa under the supervision of riot police. Riot police had closed entrance end exit of Sur and blocked to journalists to report. It was also reported one journalist who could enter the neighborhood was taken into custody for a while and released.

Police forces didn’t not only searched all cameras of the journalists but also all people who were seen as suspect to police.
Meanwhile cutting water implementation in Alipaşa Neighborhood is continuing since August 13.
