Trustee appointed to Baykan Municipality

SİİRT – After Baykan Municipality co-mayor Ali Aydın was jailed county governor was appointed as trustee to the municipality.


Police had raided to Baykan and Veysel Karani Municipalities on December 16. Baykan Municipality co-mayors Selva Erdoğan and Ali Aydın were detained. Aydın was jailed after the court decision but Erdoğan still is in to custody. Ministry of Interior announced today Baykan County Governor Mehmet Kocabey was appointed as a trustee to the municipality.


Meanwhile Veysel Karani Municipality co-mayor Enes Cengiz is still into custody.
