İSTANBUL – Police forces intervened to discharged public employees of KESK members with plastic bullet and tear gas in İstanbul. KESK members aimed to have long walk from İstanbul to Ankara to protest against discharges.




Conferation of Public Employees Trade Unions (KESK) Istanbul branch platform gathered in Kadıkoy to march from İstanbul to Ankara. Police forces warned to members and said“ leave after your statement”. But KESK co-chair Şaziye Köse continued to speak. After the Köse speech police intervened the group with plastic bullet and tear gas.




Kamu Emekçileri Sendikası Konfederasyonu (KESK) İstanbul Şubeler Platformu, ihraç edilen ve açığa alınan kamu emekçilerinin görevlerine iade edilmesi için “İşimi, ekmeğimi geri istiyorum” sloganı ile Ankara’ya yürüyüş düzenlemek üzere Kadıköy Rıhtım’da bir araya geldi. “İşimi, ekmeğimi geri istiyorum” yazılı pankart açan KESK üyeleri, “Faşizme karşı omuz omuza”, “Direne direne kazanacağız” sloganları attı. Police also detained some members but after reactions of other protestors , they released the members.
