BATMAN – Abdulmecid family’s child Muhammed (8) has progeria ( early aging) due to disease inherent . Deprived from the cure Muhammed is expecting help for rehabilitate.



Abdulmecid family migrated from Al-Qamishli to Federal Kurdistan Region. Muhammed Abdulmecid who has progeria disease is one of the three children of family. Family moved to Batman from Federal Kurdistan Region seven month ago to find solution for Muhammed. But Muhammed didn’t receive any treatment due to their economic condition.



Mother Şirin Abdulmecid says Muhammed noise and mouth always bleeding. According to doctors there is a cure for treatment but economic condition of family can’t provide the hospital cost. Mother said “ Only thing we want is Muhammed’s treatment. We can’t even go to hospital due to our economic condition. My husband works one day in 10 days. Therefore we can narrowly buy food by this money. Also sometime we can’t even pay our rent for house we live in. No one helped us until now.”



“ Sometime I bring Muhammed to shopping. He comes back cryingly to home. Because children are mocking on his looking. Therefore he doesn’t go out. He wants to back to Rojavaç. He had many friends in Rojava and he often says “send me Rojava back” said mother Şirin.

Muhammed spends most of his time at home. Therefore his best friend is a canary.

Muhammed “ I want to receive a treatment. Children are mocking on my face. I want to go school as well and have some friends who don’t mocking on me” said Muhammed.
