DİYARBAKIR – Special Forces with long barreled weapons tortured to journalist Ömer Çelik for half an hour when they raided his house.


Closed Dicle News Agency (DİHA) director Ömer Çelik’s houses in Diyarbakır was raided by Police forces around at 4 a.m. Right after family opened the door, police forces blow downed the all family members on the ground. Despite the family members warning the police to not yell that becayse there is a baby in the house , special forces began to torture to journalist Ömer Çelik without any question. Police forces also pointed long barreled weapon to Çelik’s mother. After a while special forces took journalist Çelik to the balcony and battered him. During the torture police were saying “ You are writing news ha? You are bastard of Armenian “ said.
