DİYARBAKIR – DTK issued a statement on morning detention against DTK politicians. DTK chair council member Saliha Aydeniz “ The aim is to illegalizing the DTK” said. Aydeniz also simulated the operations as 2009 operations made by Gülen Organization.




Democratic Society Congress (DTK) is an umbrella organization which includes most of Kurdish organizations, institutions. This morning former co-chair Aysel Tuğluk, Peace Committee member and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) vice co-chair Seydi Fırat, DTK former council member Edip Yaşar and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) were detained by police.




Saliha Aydeniz said “ we look at operations against DTK as continuing operations against towards Kurds.Because Congress’ aims are resolve problem of the region’s people such as health issues, education, economy and law. DTK also an organization which supports self determination right and issuing congresses , education seminars. Also recognized by state. Therefore DTK co-chair Hatip Dicle was member of İmralı Committee which was carrying out Peace Process with government.”




Aydeniz commented the operation to “criminalize DTK”. “ We are a legal party since we established. The aim is marginalizing DTK and disable us” said Aytemiz.
