NEWS BUEROU - Politic prisoners urged to society for not keep silence against implementations which kills them slowly.

Politic prisoners sent a letter about implementations which human rights violations after July 15.

Mehmet Çağlayan in Manisa T Type Closed Prison mentioned that he was assaulted by 18 guards with nightsticks on 3 October 2016. He also wrote that prisoners were forced to move to corridor and sport saloon then tortured by dozens guards. Çağlayan “ the assault caused permenant damage to numbers of my friends. Two times were exposed to torture in 15 days. We were also assaulted in the prison free space by guards under color of we didn’t stand as military stand. Also authorities said ‘we resolve the problem with violence’ to us. Despite lawyers demand for investigation to Justice Ministry, demands were remained unanswered. But violence is still continuing. Also they seize our books, magazines and letter without any justification. We are 25 prisoners in 10 people capacity cell. Therefore there is no choice except resisting. History showed that human dignity will beat these torture implementations. I urge to society to sensitive and common sense”



Prisoner Ahmet Gerez in Erzincan T Type Closed Prison also wrote that they are facing with human rights violations. Specifically after July 15 , violations raised. “ Firstly all our rights in prison were suspended by general instruction. Social, Cultural and sportive activities were blocked. Completely psychologic pressure is implemented against us. We are 21 prisoners in 10 capacity cell. Four of prisoners have to sleep on the ground. We get punished even for a smallest right demands. State forces assault to us when we taken hospital. Our needs such as clothes and books sent by our family is seized without any justification. We are left to die by these unlawful implementations. Neither people have power to survive under this conditions nor patience. There is only a thing left : A Honorably standing.”




M. Nuri Özen in Buca F Type Closed Prison “ There is no any meeting among politic prisoners nor any activities such as sport after July 15. Right of free visitation was seized. Also recent jailed politicians were put in different block which there is no any politician. Kızıltepe Municipal co-mayor İsmail Asi were put alone in three capacity cell. Despite attempts , no one could put in his cell. We had news about him at last on December 19. But we don’t know where he is now and we are concerning about him. All demands are refusing by authorities. Right violations is raising and we expecting from society to be sensitive” wrote.
