NEWS BUEROU – Iran reacted to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu who asked fulfil duty of guarantor from Iran.


Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu had stated “ Iran should fulfil its duty of guarantee on violation of Syria Ceasefire and exert its authority over Shi’ite Militias and Asad regime.” Iran Foreign Ministry spokesperson Behram Kasımi replied to Çavuşoğlu statement. Kasımi “ Turkey should take measure as opposites’ guarantor.”

Behrami said “ We advise to Turkey to protest opposite ceasefire violations, not blame to Iran. Nonconstructive statements of Turkey confuses the issue” on a written statement.


Kasımi also reminded to Turkey that Moskow is also a partner of three summit meeting. “We expecting from Turkey that the Agreement should be put into practice seriously and a partner of three summit meeting Turkey should have an attitude as take responsibility it assumed” said Kasımi.


Kasımi “ According to information , these opposite groups violated 45 times the ceasefire in a day. If it needed we may share the details. If Turkey wants to Syria has permanent ceasefire and politic negotiation, it should protest opposites’ numerous ceasefire violations as guarantor of opposites” said Kasımi.
