25 Politicians and Activists Jailed in Urfa and Maraş

URFA/MARAŞ – 25 Kurdish politicians and activists in 53 were jailed and taken to prison.

After Beşiktaş twin blast about 250 Kurdish politicians and activists had been detained and 39 of them were taken into court which 13 of them had been released. After 23 days 42 other politician were taken into court yesterday night on January four and 18 people were jailed on charge of “being member of illegal organization”.

Jailed 18 people were taken to Urfa F Type Prison.


11 Kurdish politician and activists had been detained in Maraş five days ago on December 31.Seven people were jailed on charge of “ being member of illegal organization” and taken to Elbistan F Type Prison.
