Demirtaş : Constitution proposal can't be negotiate without imprisoned PMs

ANKARA – HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş’s letter of application which demands to delay the new constitution amendment proposal’s negotiation was read on the general assembly of the parliamentary. Demirtaş stated “ Negotiation is lawlessness because of 11 parliamentarian are jailed.”


The constitution amendment proposal negotiations which consensused between Justice and Development Party (AKP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) began to discuss in the general assembly of parliamentary.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) grup deputy chairperson Ahmet Yıldırım “ the general assembly of parliamentary can’t start to negotiate on constitution proposal because of missing attendance” said. Then Yıldırım read Demirtaş’s letter of application which demands to delay the new constitution amendment proposals.
